houseof was born out of a shared passion for design led homewares & curiosity for doing things slightly differently. houseof are experts in lighting, but in reality they are so much more than this. They are building a consumer led online retailer which challenges the norms. The collection is reasoned with every piece fit for purpose, designed with beauty in mind & available in their trademark colour palette.
Prior to engaging iakoe, houseof’s organic traffic had plateaued. The site was visually fantastic & a pleasure to use, but it hadn’t benefited from any technical SEO work & the sprawling category content hadn’t been optimised for search. We optimised all category pages with longer tail keyphrases which truly reflected houseof’s range, tone of voice & styling. We also ensured internal linking on these category pages was up to scratch, creating relational links between relevant sub category pages which delivered an uplift in rankings for sub-categories.
