Background

As one of the pioneers of clean beauty, Credo Beauty had built a sophisticated ecommerce operation on Magento, supported by years of custom development, third-party integrations, & operational workflows.

While the platform had served the business well, maintaining Magento had become increasingly complex. The team wanted a modern commerce platform that would simplify operations, improve site performance, & provide greater flexibility without sacrificing the custom functionality the business relied upon.

The migration needed to preserve every aspect of the customer experience while setting the business up for long-term growth on Shopify Plus.

Migrating an enterprise ecommerce business is far more complex than moving products from one platform to another.

Rather than simply recreating the Magento experience, we rebuilt the storefront to take full advantage of Shopify Plus. A custom Shopify theme preserved Credo's premium brand experience while delivering significantly improved performance, easier content management, & a more streamlined customer journey.

Every critical integration was carefully implemented using Shopify Plus APIs & the platform's app ecosystem, ensuring operational continuity across fulfillment, merchandising, marketing, & customer experience.

Secure data migration

We oversaw the migration of the complete product catalog, customer database, order history, & associated business data using automated migration tools combined with extensive validation processes. Multiple rounds of testing ensured the accuracy of every dataset before launch.

Preserving search visibility

SEO preservation was a key priority throughout the migration. URL structures, redirects, metadata, structured data, & technical SEO best practices were carefully implemented to maintain Credo's search visibility while transitioning to Shopify Plus.
