Created by bartenders, plant scientists & herbal experts, the brand crafts functional, plant-powered elixirs designed to elevate different moments, from energising evenings to winding down at night. As Three Spirit continued to grow its loyal customer base & expand its range, the team needed a website that better reflected the premium nature of the brand while making it easier for customers to discover products & subscribe. The result was a refreshed ecommerce experience that balanced storytelling, education & conversion.
As the non-alcoholic category grew & consumer awareness increased, Three Spirit found itself with an expanding product range, growing subscription base & a stronger international presence. While the products had evolved into a premium lifestyle brand, the storefront no longer reflected the quality of the experience or supported the next stage of growth.
The team wanted a site that better communicated the benefits behind each blend, made product discovery effortless & encouraged more customers to subscribe, all while staying true to the brand's distinctive personality.
The first challenge was elevating the ecommerce experience without losing the bold, creative identity that had made Three Spirit stand out in the alcohol-free category.
The second challenge was improving product education. Functional ingredients, adaptogens & botanical benefits require more explanation than a traditional beverage, so the site needed to tell richer product stories without overwhelming customers.
Finally, the growing product catalogue & subscription offering highlighted limitations in the existing storefront. Launching new products, updating content & merchandising collections had become increasingly time-consuming, making it difficult for the team to move quickly.
We rebuilt the storefront on our proprietary framework with two clear objectives: create a premium shopping experience that reflected the brand & give the Three Spirit team complete control over merchandising & content.

The refreshed design brought greater emphasis to product photography, lifestyle imagery & storytelling while maintaining the brand's playful personality. Clearer typography, improved hierarchy & more intentional use of color helped customers better understand each product & when to drink it.
Flexible product pages
We developed a single product page template powered entirely by Shopify metafields. Every content section can be added, removed or reordered without developer support, allowing the team to launch new products & campaigns quickly while maintaining consistency across the catalogue.
Better product discovery
The navigation was restructured around how customers actually shop. Whether someone is looking for energy, relaxation or a social alternative to alcohol, the new information architecture makes it easy to browse by mood, benefit or collection.
Subscription-first purchasing
Subscription became a more prominent part of the customer journey, with clearer messaging, simplified purchase options & improved merchandising throughout the site to encourage repeat purchases without disrupting the buying experience.
Built for growth
With reusable content sections, flexible merchandising tools & a scalable CMS, the team can now update landing pages, launch seasonal campaigns & expand the product range without relying on developers.
The most significant result was a 18% increase in subscription take rate, driven by a simplified subscription journey & stronger merchandising throughout the storefront.
The redesigned experience also better reflects the premium positioning of the brand while making it easier for customers to understand the benefits behind each product. Most importantly, the Three Spirit team now has a storefront they can manage independently. New products, campaigns & content updates can all be launched quickly through Shopify without touching code.
